Toby had thought the art gallery a boring place to visit. In fact, he had said as much to his mum as he trudged up the grand, stone steps to the entrance an hour earlier. “Mummmmm” he had complained, “I hate coming here. The animals never dooooo anything.”

Toby was now thinking he had been wrong. His jaw dropped and he stared in utter disbelief at the sight in front of him, pointing as water cascaded onto the floorboards from the painting containing a herd of elephants stampeding through the Ganges river. Toby could not believe his eyes: this trip was starting to get interesting…

Toby heard a loud noise coming from the other room. He rushed over and there was a whole army pointing their guns at another army. Another loud noise. He ran over past the elephant and saw… The Infinity Gauntlet. The elephant had fully stepped out of the picture and chaos was just spreading everywhere. Toby’s mum yelled out to him. “Stop being so loud in there!” Toby was about to yell back at her but he didn’t want to get in trouble.

Everything was coming alive. Even the Mona Lisa!! Things were getting out of hand really fast. It was really loud so Toby’s mum came in to scold him but as soon as she saw all of it… She screamed. LOUDLY. She ran back out and took Toby by the hand and ran off. The elephant smashed through the door and chased them. There were even a few explosions. A Police Air Support Chopper was hovering over the art gallery. Toby and his mum were already in the car, zooming home. When they got home, Toby’s mum raced over to the T.V, turned it on, closed all the windows and locked all the doors. “Mum, what the heck is going on??” “Well an elephant coming out of painting, that's what!” Toby heard another explosion. He threw himself into his room and grabbed his walkie-talkie.  “James, do you have any idea what the heck is going on?” “Well no… all I know is that an elephant came out of a painting. That is pure weirdness.” Toby switched the walkie-talkie off.

He thought he would just jump outta his window. And of course that’s exactly what he did. The art gallery wasn’t too far from his house. He started to run towards it. Toby arrived at the art gallery. The elephant was long gone, the army had… well, finished their business and all soldiers lay on the floor, probably dead.

After he got back home his mother was painting a picture of some origami. As soon as he saw the painting it came alive. Toby’s mum watched in shock. After that everything after that was a blur. Monkeys were coming alive, doves, PEOPLE everything. Man even planets. (Life-sized not included) Toby felt really weird and in charge.

Toby's mum was in shock. She dialled 911 and the cops came in no-time. There was even a cool painting called Coronavirus or Covid-19 for short. When he saw the painting the Covid-19 came to life and entered one of the po-pos and he started coughing straight away. Toby and his mum stepped back. Toby’s mum called the ambulance as well.

Soon almost everybody in Toby’s town was outside. They were yelling at the cops… But not Toby and his Mum. The cops pushed through everyone in the house and froze outside. They were doomed. A brick came smashing through the window and there was a note tied to it. The cop picked it up and Toby tried to read it. All he could make out was “Ome side you cklehead” He used his detective skills and figured out that it said “Come outside you knucklehead” A lot of the people had pitchforks and torches, so he knew it was gonna get rough.

Toby and his mum stayed in their rooms and the cop without the Covid-19 started moving towards the front door. That made Toby wonder. “Where is the cop with the Covid-19?” He was soon found lying on the floor, maybe dead. Maybe. Toby’s mum shrieked. There was another painting lying on the floor. That was it!

She checked her phone. 1 new message. It was from Toby, it said “Mum I am really scared” She flicked a text back straight away. “It’s all gonna be ok. I have an idea.” Toby’s mum got out of messenger and into her photo app. There was a painting of a bucket of water by someone. She copied it and started painting it. Then she printed it and burst into Toby’s room holding it in front of her. The bucket of water came to life and she immediately opened Toby’s window and splashed the water onto the crowd. The torches went out.

The cop lying on the floor was still there. The other cop was somehow flying and Toby wasn’t in his room. He was outside, flying with the cop. But he seemed to be making the cop fly. Toby’s mum screamed and everything turned into a blur.

She woke up later and the whole house was literally turned upside down. She saw one of the Times Square screens and the news was saying that there was something going on in one of the labs. A big bird-lion was attacking all of the scientists. Then Toby’s mum’s eyes opened. There she was, laying in bed. All of this had just been a dream. She immediately wondered if Toby was okay. She got up and the time read 6:48 am. She fell back asleep though. She was glad it was all a dream. Meanwhile Toby was sitting up in his bed thinking about all of the traumatic events that had happened a few hours ago. He knew it wasn’t a dream.

This is an AMAZING story...did you complete it all by yourself or did you have someone to bounce your ideas off?.
Your use of adjectives and ideas is great. It gives the reader a picture in their head,as it did me.
